Got back from S. Carolina last night . The conference was awesome,though the bus ride was straight from haddes. I had prayed the Lord would both speak to me and use me. He used me almost continuously both way’s. He also provided for me financially. Someone deposited 400$ in my bank account, which covered my expenses. I had a plethura of prophetic word’s spoken over me. Bought some really good worship music at Morningstar too. I’m back here for a day and leave for Reynosa to help my associate pastor on a project,then get ready for Mexico City. Thing’s are busy and the LORD is teaching me about control. I don’t alway’s care for the tactic’s he employ’s. such as 3/5 hour delay’s while riding greyhound( buses are the creme de la creme of transportation anyway. Through that he connected me with the people he needed me to minister to. I had my fill of delay’s, started in Houston at the beginning of the trip with a5 hr. delay, then another in Mobile. Spent 3 day’s at the conference attending morning and evening session’s. Staying up late catching up with acouple of people from my home church. Then when I got ready to leave I had another 5 hour delay right off the bat. I just wanted to sleep so I got up and left the bus station to go get a hotel. I started praying, asking the LORD or rather telling him I just wanted to sleep I felt him say he was going to take care of me. I turned around and went back to the bus station after getting something to drink. So I’m back at the bus station waiting , growing more frustrated, I get up to go get a hotel room,again , I look down as I’m walking and I see what I think is a 1 $ bill on the ground I pick it up and it’s a 100$ bill enough for a cab too and fro plus food and a hotel GOD is good ! I need to go get some sleep. Please pray GOD will provide a new parking lot here at the Gateway. Also the LORD would both give leadership his vision for this place and the provision for it. This place is a blessing to me and I hope I can be the same. ADIOS, HUGH
