In the begging of my senior year I was looking for the right college to attened in August. I had a very hard time looking for one that I really liked and felt at home with. I did end up finding Wright State in Dayton Ohio. I really enjoyed my tour there. Something about Wright state stood at to me. About 2 weeks after I visited Wright state I went to a baby shower. while I was at the shower I met Kacey Bolin. we started talking to her and asked what college she was going to. she said that she hadn’t gone to college yet. Instead she had gone on the Gap Year. Kacey told my mom and I about her trip and experience while on the Gap year. She told us we should look it up and read about it. so I wasted know time and right when I got home from the shower I got the lap top out and looked Gap Year. I sat there reading some stuff to my mom about it. My mom knew I wanted to do this. so that night I applied for the Gap Year. My mom and I didn’t even ask my dad. I just went right ahead and applied for it. My dad was not very happy that I applied. He thought the trip would be very dangerous. I had applied and was waiting on an answer and my dad kept saying he didn’t know if I was even going to be aloud to go or not. Well my dad learned to accept that I had my heart set on this adventure because I got accepted to it. Before I got accepted to this trip I prayed and talked to God every night to see if this is where he wanted me. Honestly the decision for me to go to college or go on the Gap Year was a know brainer. The Gap Year was exactly where I wanted to be and where I felt God was calling me to be. So after talking to God and my parents, and thinking to myself for a while, we decided to put the first payments down and begin the most crazy, amazing and exciting adventure of my life.
