Since the Dominican Republic to Haiti and into Jamaica I have been thinking about my divine, and specific purpose for the Kingdom of God.

The Father has graciously been showing me how detailed of a God He really is. That everything is specifically planned out with Him. The things that I believe will happen probably don’t happen and the things that the Lord makes away for, I could have never dreamt of. In realizing this characteristic of the Lord, I have found that His plans are better. No matter how many times I try to run from those plans, the Lord always catches up and beautifully shifts my direction.

A few months ago I was studying the book of Genesis and Nehemiah with a well known women’s bible study called She Reads Truth. Separately, they both brought to the attention of two important people who have specific roles in the Kingdom.

One of my favorite parts in Genesis, is when Abraham
sends out one of his oldest servants to find Isaac a wife. This man has known Abraham his whole life. He has watch Abraham struggle with the Lord and watches him rejoice with the Lord. In Genesis 24 you will find this story. As you start to read this beautiful story, this man prays to the Lord to give him a vision on who Isaac is supposed to marry. The Lord gives him a vision and as soon as he gets that vision Rebekah is pulled into the story. Everything the servant prayed for and saw, came true.

All through out Genesis you see particular people chosen to play an important role in the Kingdom. We see, Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Moses, Esau and Jacob, and Joseph. All of these chosen people and more had an important role of bringing The Light of The World into existence. I wonder if this man even gave a thought about his major role of being Abrahams servant, which would lead to finding Rebekah for Isaac, and then genealogy ushering Jesus into the world.

What I am getting at is that the Lord picked all of these broken people, with broken but uniquely beautiful stories to play such a major role in our salvation!

I read through the book of Genesis amazed by how detailed the Father is. If He is this detailed with people in the old testament, then how detailed is my life!? How chosen am I as a daughter of the most high King!?

I look at the last 11 months of my life and beyond that and think, “damn, my life is so messed up, broken, and I have failed so many times” BUT what the enemy used to harm me, the Lord is turning it around for His Good!

Another story that blew my mind came from the book of Nehemiah 3:15. Nehemiah has a whole heap of people working on this wall. In chapter 3 you will read name after name of people who put in hard work to build this wall for one mans God sized dream. In verse 15 a man named Shallum comes up. His role in this story is rebuilding the pool of Shelah. Like the story in Genesis, we would probably over look this small role, but She Reads Truth pointed out something extremely important.

In John 9 that same pool is mentioned. This is where Jesus, many years later, heals a blind man. Then even later down the road in Acts 3, at the SAME pool, Peter heals a man who has never walked before.

This blew my mind at how the things we are doing now, effect the things we do in the future. Not just for our life but for the next generation. Our fleshly, human minds can only see so far, but the Lords vision can see far beyond that.

What society is telling you is a “small task”, isn’t to the Lord. He is equipping you for things ONLY YOU can usher in. Just like the people in the Old Testament ushered in Jesus so effortlessly, the Lord is using us to usher in Jesus to the people around us.

The things I am learning on the World Race play a major role for the things the Lord is launching me into for the future. This is how the Lord showed me that HIS plan is more detailed, more extravagant, more beautiful than I could ever fathom.

You my brothers and sisters have this same detailed life by the Lord! The Lord has planned your life perfectly! The comes straight from the Truth of the Word.

These are the steps that the Father took me through the last 3 months of my Race. Understanding this, changed my whole perspective of what life after the World Race looks like.

Stay tuned for what comes next for me after month 11…

In It For Good With Him,
Hope
