It’s the last day of Training Camp for the World Race and I’m filled with so many feelings and thoughts.  I’m excited for the adventure ahead–to live out the ministry God has planned for us.  I’m convinced He has a huge plan for our 2 squads to go into the world in 2010 to change and be changed.  I have been inspired in the past 9 days by the worship and teaching; by the spiritual experiences and the physical experiences.  This time has allowed 120 strangers to come together as a team with a vision for broken and  hopeless people–to speak life to the oppressed and pray blessing over the people God brings into our path.  Check out my squad….

I have tremendous respect for the men and women on the Jan 2010 team.  They are beautiful, broken, passionate people who have opened and shared their hearts with each other–this openness, humility, and willingness to share their stories has made me love them.  I praise God for his grace and mercy this week over me personally.  He has freed me from emotional pain, control, and so much pride.  I praise God for the way He has been present in our worship and teachings, and through the staff and former world racers.  I praise God for the way he has worked all these things for His glory.

We had an opportunity for our first team ministry experience yesterday in town.  I will post soon on the details of that and how God showed up.  Until then, thank you for being involved in my blog and my life.  I cherish your prayers for processing as I head back home.

Blessings until next time.
