Well, we have been in South Africa this month, and with a lack of internet, I am playing catch up with my blogs.

What have we done?

Well, we have been with a great organization called Zimele. They bring communities together and equip them to sustain themselves.

This has looked like a few different things.

Some days, we just go to people’s houses to visit them and pray for them because they are sick and can’t get out or around. When we do this, we may clean their house or help with laundry.

Other days, we go to schools to help prepare breakfasts for orphans. The meals are provided for by women in the communities and their savings groups. We may even get a chance to clean some classrooms and play with some kiddos.

Then, we will go to visit women and help them with beading or gardening. If they have a need, we will try our best to meet it or to help them meet it.

In every place, we strive to share the Gospel with our lives, and we seek opportunities to tell people about the love of Jesus.

We also have learned some of the Zulu culture and language.

Our team has absolutely loved our time in South Africa, and I hope this gives you a small look into what our ministry has looked like!

Thank you for following our journey!

UPDATE:

Next month, our team will be in Botswana instead of Lesotho.
