As I look around this table of people who I’ve basically been forced to befriend, I can’t help but find myself being so thankful. Because if we had not been put together, we may never have intentionally gone out of our way to know one another, and in that we would have missed the opportunity to gain wisdom, to share our gifts, and to grow in love with this incredible group of individuals known as New Zion.
This may only be the beginning, but I can guarantee you, this is going to be great.
Cheers to this new team and the incredible individuals who make it up. I’m so excited to continue to learn about you all, to pursue the Lord together, and to grow closer together as we walk through life’s journey together.
Kirsten, God has a strange way of setting up friendships and I am so thankful He does. The way you befriend people emulates the way the Lord has befriended us. You are wise beyond your years. Beauty, joy and grace flow from you. Your voice is powerful when you speak and sing. I love getting to do life with you.
Sara, I remember the day we met in person, and life has been full of so much more laughter ever since. You bring joy everywhere and anywhere you go. When you decide to do something or go after something, you do it with your all. I love you and the passion and joy you bring with you. You go all in, and God sees that. Keep going. Doing life you and watching your confidence grow is an honor.
Tanner, leadership, wisdom, knowledge, teaching, and friendship are just a small fraction of things that come to the table with you. You offer so much just by being yourself and I absolutely love getting to know you. You share your gifts without reservation and it doesn’t go unnoticed. God’s favor and hand in your life are evident. It’s so exciting to get to do life with you in this season.
Rick, you bring confidence, joy, peace, and love with you everywhere you go. The past 4 months with you have been great, and I’m so excited to still be on your team. You bring perspective and wisdom into every situation. You are slow to speak, an incredible listener, and a phenomenal leader. Thank you for being yourself wherever you go and always welcoming others to be themselves with you.
I am so excited to see where the Lord leads us! I love each of you dearly and believe in you.
This is just a glimpse of what I see in the 4 people that I get to do life with. New teams and new seasons are great. Just wanted to share these incredible people with you.
