“But God,” these two words have got to be two of my favorite words.
I fail Him everyday, but God still loves me.
I make a wrong choice, but God still died for me.
I forget to spend time in the word, but God still calls me His own.
These two words have played such an important part in my life these past few days..months..and even years. Every time I think I have failed Him to the point of Him not loving me anymore, I remember, “but God still cares.” There is never a place where I am too far gone that God won’t be there saying, ” I loved you before, I love you now, and I will love you always”
No matter what I do or what I say, there is always a “but God.’
I was recently sitting here thinking, “how in the world am I going to come up with this money by the 19th?” I kept thinking, “I’m not going to be able to do this, I’m going to fail and not make it.”
BUT GOD
God blessed me with reaching the $10,000 deadline before the original deadline! This is HUGE!
At every moment in time, even when you think you’ve messed up so horribly and are scared to admit it, God is here. Even if you feel like you are running as fast as Usain Bolt away from Him, if you look behind you, He’s right there waiting for you to turn around and fall into His arms. In Romans 5 it talks about how in our darkest times, He still died on the cross for you.
I have been blessed so much by reaching and passing our goal of $10,000. The next deadline is December 31st and that is to be fully funded. Right now I have $10,100 so to be fully funded, I need $4,700! That seems like a small number compared to what we have already raised! I know that God will provide! I can’t wait to see how it works out!

- We head to Atlanta for 4 days on September 8th (18 days!!)
- Saying “see ya laters” won’t be easy

- Our flight from Atlanta to Costa Rica is on September 11th
- Packing. Y’all, lemme tell you, I am the worlds worst packer. I struggled packing for a 5 day family vacation to Kentucky. This will be challenging. haha
