Hi, my name is Holly Renaud and I am 19 years old. I’m super excited about the opportunity to participate in the World Race Gap Year! Many of you know I’ve had a challenging time recently with health issues. Please be reassured that the most recent procedures have been exceedingly successful and I’ve even been able to come off of ALL medications. I’ve been basically headache/symptom free for weeks and have been cleared for this trip by my doctors. One of the things I’m most looking forward to is being able to use my gifts of singing and guitar playing on this mission trip. I have always enjoyed cultural experiences that are far from my own and have found that experiencing them in Haiti and the Philippines has made a big difference in me personally and helped me grow spiritually. I hope this time abroad will allow me to grow and get closer to The Lord!
