Squad leading is the most exhausting, challenging, and yet rewarding thing I have ever done. This time around is different than my first race, however, because there is no doubt. I have no fear or uncertainty that this is exactly where I am suppose to be right now. There is an unexplainable peace that has settled around me, and I know that it is the Lord’s spirit encouraging and guiding me through this. Every day is different and I never have any idea what to expect, but in these last two weeks I have learned that God ALWAYS shows up. Whether it’s when I have to get up in front of the squad at Launch and say something inspiring and insightful, or stay up late talking with a racer in tears over some person struggle…God is there. Without Him, I feel completely inadequate in these moments. But with Him, I somehow find the strength, energy, and wisdom to get through it.

So far on this journey, Noe and I spent the first week with the whole squad at Launch. This was a time for preparation and training with some AIM staff before everyone headed to their different ministry sites. From there, Noe and I went to Bangalore to visit team Considered Lost who was working with YWAM. We had such a great time with them that it was hard to say goodbye, but we knew it was time to go. So now we are currently in Ongole with teams Rapha and Ripple Effect after taking an overnight bus (with actual beds!?) last night. I am excited to get to know these two teams better, and see what God has in store for all of us.
