This month my team and I are partnering with a ministry called Successful Christian Ministries in Kigali, Rwanda. They have several churches in the area and recently Pastor Vanessia took a leap of faith and opened a preschool at one of the church locations.
She saw that many women who needed to work would either leave their small children alone or wouldn’t be able to work because they didn’t want to leave their children unattended. She rounded up volunteers and opened the school up to any children between the ages of 2-5 to come three days a week for free.
Pastor Vanessia and her husband pastor Innocent have been supporting this school of nearly 100 students out of pocket. They do the best they can, but the school has no supplies. The kids have chairs to sit in and they get a cup of porridge and sometimes a cracker. They are in need of pencils, paper, crayons, tables, books, uniforms, and food.
My teammate Brittany set up a gofundme page where you can donate to buy supplies for these kids. Please, please, please, consider donating to this special cause. These kids deserve the best that we can give them.
