Somewhere around day 7 of our 10 day stint known as ‘training camp,’ we were put on teams. These teams are the people we will travel with, scream at, serve alongside, annoy, make laugh, make cry, sleep uncomfortably close to, smell, and love on for the next year.
In all my wildest dreams I couldnt have pulled 6 more fitting people out of the 85+ to be my family, my bayith. Seriously, they are incredible.
We only had a few short days together as a team but in that time we already experienced so much. As my teammate Dan said in one of his blogs, we don’t expect anyone to understand what went on, our bond. We have prayed together and saw (literally SAW) truth come out of it. We have already shared tears and memories and hurts. Played dress-up and laughed over meals. We’ve taken communion and washed eachothers’ feet. This is a family unlike one I’ve ever experienced, ever met. So without further ado, here is Team Unwritten:

I could not be more excited to travel the world with any group of people.
