Bob Goff said, “God is more interested in our hearts, then in our plans.”
And we decided to put this quote into action for month 7.
Month 7 is an ATL month, which stands for Ask The Lord. This simply means, instead of getting a setup sheet in our inboxes, a phone number for our host, and a list of ministry activities, we just won’t get any of that.
So what do you do when you don’t know what to do? Ask the Lord, because He works a lot better then any google search.
We prayed about it and the Lord gave us words, ideas, and pictures of what this month would look like, but He kept telling us that He wanted us to choose.
Because sometimes He just wants us to GO. Go without a plan because sometimes we focus more on the plan or the task then the actual goal -loving people.
So my team and I decided to not stay in Macedonia for the month, but to go to ATHENS, GREECE.
We are on our way and we have booked an Airbnb, but that is pretty much it. We will continually ask the Lord about how He wants us to serve and love His people and it is going to be one heck of an adventure.
