What do the afore mentioned have in common? Beginning the fall of 2017, they can all be found in the same country. That’s right, ladies and gents, in just a few short months, I will be packing my bags once again and making my way out to Thailand! Chiang Mai, Thailand to be exact.
For reasons unknown at the time, I had a particular attachment to Southeast Asia while there January through April of last year. I connected with the people I met, enjoyed the food I ate (even…or perhaps especially…the weird stuff), and found the culture intriguing.
While we spent a month in Chiang Mai in January, a large portion of that time was spent in training camp. We got to experience a little bit of the culture, but mostly this time was spent as a crash-course to the World Race, and what the following 10 months would look like.
I’m so excited for the opportunity to return to Chiang Mai and be completely immersed in the culture.
