Why $11? The number 11 is integral to the Race. It is an 11 month long journey. In that time, we will travel to 11 countries. I will have (at least) 11 different homes and (at least) 11 different hosts. Lastly, I will learn to use (at least) 11 different types of toilets. Yes. Toilets. Ok, maybe I’m stretching a bit, but you get the idea, right??
