Hi friends and Family!
I’m wrapping up a month in Nepal with Gap P Squad and boy was it a full one!
We started the month with a debrief where we met with each team, worshipped together as a squad, and launched into ministry. After that I spent one week with the Becomers team doing slum outreach and tutoring kids that their ministry has rescued.
I got to know two really amazing people.
One was a women named Pinky and her baby, whose name was Precious. Pinky is a single mother who had been living on the street while pregnant. In Nepal, there are certain laws regarding being pregnant out of marriage and because of that she was arrested and put in jail. There she met the ministry we are working with. They now house her and are helping her get the training she needs to get a job.
She’s lived through a lot of pain in her life already, but through it the Lord reached out to her and rescued her. I could see the love of Jesus so evident in her life.
This is her baby precious and I.

The other amazing person is an 18 year old from India who is doing a YWAM discipleship training school here in Nepal. Only she and her sister are Christians in their family, yet she had the faith to leave home to pursue her relationship with God and be a light to Nepal.
It was amazing to get to know her and see her faith.
After the week with the Becomers, I spent 10 days with the A Team going to villages in Nepal and doing house visits. We went to houses of people in the church and prayed for them and encouraged them.
In many of the houses, some members were Christian but others were Hindu. Many families are divided in what they believe but it was cool to see some of the Hindu siblings and family members sit in the meetings with us and listen as we shared the gospel. Many of them also accepted prayer from us.

God is definitely working in Nepal but from what I’ve heard the church is getting more and more persecuted. It is illegal to evangelize here and in one district pastors and christians have faced violence.
Despite that the pastors are bold and they don’t let that stop them from sharing the love of Jesus with others.
I’m heading to Zimbabwe now if you could please be praying for our travel days and for our time there!
