“Don’t you ever get tired of asking people for money?” That questioned kind of rocked me for a moment. At first thought, I knew that person wanted and expected the answer to be “yes, I hate it” and I started to say it but then I stopped. No I don’t hate it, I kind of love it.
Love it?! I know I know. Weird right? That thought knocked me for a loop too How could I love asking people for their hard earned money. Well you see, I don’t look at it as asking for their money and I don’t think God does either.

I see it as an invitation. An invitation to come along side this call to kingdom work. All good things come from God and that includes the ability to go and make disciples as well as all of our “hard earned money.” I feel God calling me to make disciples who make disciples by showing people how to disciple by discipling. He’s called me to do that in country and out of country. A lot of times I think we as Americans need to be taken away from our comforts to really understand how Jesus loves and hurts with the least of these which is a huge step in being able to in turn learn to do the same(aka be a disciple).

However I don’t think everyone is called to be traveling missionary physically going all over the world. That’s why He made us unique, with unique gifts to be used at a certain time for a certain purpose and possibly for a certain soul. Some are called to physically go and some are called to send, we are all called to be a part of this kingdom work and pray and yearn for its completion.
I’m not asking for money, I’m inviting people, you specifically to join in this unique branch of the kingdom as it is already producing much fruit. The team God has called to grow in love together and spread His seed this summer is full of God-fearing, Spirit loving, Jesus spreading women. And I’m am blessed to be called into this branch of the tree of life and count you blessed, as I am most sure He will too, as the fruit starts to grow. Doesn’t that sound like an invitation too good to refuse! So yeah, I love it!!
