I decided to post my support letter on my blog for those of you who may not have received it in person.
About the World Race:
Hello friends and family, I hope God is doing as wonderful things in your life as
He is doing in mine. Recently I have been accepted into The World Race Gap Year,
a unique, nine month missions trip and intensive discipleship program designed to equip and launch my generation into a specific Kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of The Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
My launch date is in September 2014.
Called to the Mission Field:
Growing up at Young life’s Washington Family Ranch has given me a passion for adventure and exploring the amazing world God has created. I am looking for a journey of transformation where I get the chance to become increasingly more like Jesus, to see a change in myself and witness a change in the world and others as I am able to serve them as Christ would.
I am choosing a lifestyle of abandonment. I am submitting to rules, culture and authorities. I am stepping into a world of unknowns and big trust. Once I launch, there will be no trips back home but God has clearly confirmed that this is the place He would have for me the next year of my life.
I am Looking for Partners:
At this point, I am building a community to join my team who will pray for, support and encourage me as I gather the financial and spiritual reinforcement to help me throughout this adventure.

My total goal is to raise $12,500. These are the deadlines I need to hit: -$6,000 by May 3, 2014
