Here are a few pictures of what life looks like for me ! Some pictures include views from our house, our ministry or just random fun days!!!

This is our chalkboard from the first week we got to Costa Rica! Its constantly changing with different announcements, scriptures or fun pictures.

This is the view from our backyard! Also pictured: Paige taking her laundry off the line!

THIS IS THE MEGABED!!! It is home and a constant sleepover!!

these are the GOODS.We get all our late night snacks at the Fresh Market that is about 4 houses away from us. Chiky is a really popular cookie here and it is addictive. There really isn’t to much to it other then cookie and chocolate. The fruit that we call ’spikes ball’s is kinda like a huge grape & they are 15/10.

MINISTRY !!

From the very first week Joshua was my best friend!! We bonded over our love for rock, paper, scissors. Playing is such a powerful thing. I probably spoke a few sentences in total to Joshua but that didn’t matter because we had so much fun together!!!

Dress up day!!! One of my favorite days at Lifting Hands.

This is Brainy. He is one of the coolest kids I have ever met. Truthfully he reminded me a lot of one of my cousins so I think I was naturally drawn to him. Everyday Brainy would come in with something new. It was usually some sort of slime or goop which constantly got everywhere. I miss him.

Before our last ministry we had a lot of time in the morning. One morning we did ATL (ask the Lord), which is a time to listen to God and go where we feel he is calling. We ended up in the park and we were all praying for different people. 3 of my teammates prayed for two of the park employees. It lead us to getting asked to come back the following day and help pick up leaves from the park. It was so fun, about half way through it started down pouring but that didn’t stop us!!! After a little while the man let us wash all the mud off and gave us bananas! He brought them from home just for us— the sweetest memory.

NEW MINISTRY!!!

this is what the walk up to ministry looks like! Everyday looks different. Today I played with some 5 year olds and ran around pushing different kids in wagons!

MY GIRLS!! this was taken at the talent show–some of the best artwork I’ve seen.

sweet sweet Andrea. she came running towards me as I walked into the class room to show me that we now have matching bracelets. my heart was completely full for the rest of the day.

CAMP!!!

this past weekend my team and I spent time at La Montana Christian Camp. We volunteered/ worked at the camp doing things like cleaning dishes, running games and just serving any way that we could. It was truly an amazing weekend. We were also able to build relationships with the staff members and some of the campers and they were some of the coolest people I have met ever! #livelovecamp

we ran the mud pit for the campers and ended up going in it ourselves!!!

my sweet team (6/9) & Andrea- our humble leader for the weekend. Probably one of the most selfless people I have ever known.

ADVENTURE DAYS!!

VOLCANO!! This place was s t u n n i n g. I was a little confused though as to why there was water in the middle and not lava. It was also -50 degrees at the top of this volcano. We were smiling through the pain, it was worth it.

More Volcano!!

Shortly after our volcano adventure, about half of us decided to continue on for the day and go on a hike. This hike was 100% uphill. My legs were burning, but the views were worth it. It was super overcast that day too so the fog made all the trees look super cool.

WATERFALL DAY!!! Another cold adventure. It was about a 30 minute hike to get to the waterfall and it was well worth it! The water was FREEZING but we were all so excited to jump in it didn’t even matter.

DEBREIF!!! Debrief is a time to relax and debrief everything that happened in the months before. It happens at the end of month 1, 6 and 9. We got lucky enough to go the the BEACH! We spent the week at Jaco beach and it was amazing.

make today count <3
