To be completely honest, door to door evangelism is not my favorite type of ministry. Going house to house talking to people is a little draining and I was not excited when I found out we were going to another village to do door to door. God  totally rocked my world. On Saturday, we all jumped in the car to another village to do door to door ministry. Jill, Patrick and I went with our translator, Sandu. We walked through the village and stopped to talk to people throughout. We stopped at Adi’s house. Adi looked to be about 35 and seemed very tough. He was married with one baby girl. He did not believe in the Lord but there was more to him than met the eye. When we started to dig deeper into his life he told us that he had accidentally killed a man. Adi broke into tears as he told his story. He had served his time in jail. He was ashamed. Adi had lived with guilt and shame. He had woken up every night frightened of what God would do to him. As he explained his story, and shared with us his shame, the Holy Spirit filled the room. Christ spoke through each of us to share the truth with Adi. We got to tell him who God really is and that Jesus loves him more than anything and longed to be in a relationship with him. Adi’s face broke with tears as the relief washed over his face. He received forgiveness and believed. He accepted Christ! Praise God for a new brother.
