Last month, I lost my Grandmother.  She was a strong woman who raised 2 boys and 2 girls.  In April, she had a stroke and went downhill after that.

As I was learning how to morn on the mission field, in the midst of travel and the chaos that goes on, the Lord gave me a gift.  He provided with many Nicaraguan grannies.

We have been helping out in the nursing.  I have been helping to clean and trying my broken Spanish to get to know the ladies there.  It got me by most days and even if they could not quite understand my spanglish it did not even matter.  They always greeted me with a smile and loved me.  One particular lady spoke really good English and became my Grandma for the month,  Her name is Lidia and is a caretaker.  Today, as I left for the last time, I did not want to leave.  Though I knew these ladies only a few days, they will always be I my heart.  The Lord gently reminded me that his word is true.  When you leave for the His sake he will provide you with family elsewhere.
