These ways are in no particular order but 25 ways that YOU have TOUCHED the world

25) YOU LOVED ON SURAGE.
I remember the moment Surage walked into the Asha House Orphanage for the first time.  He was a nervous little boy who had lost his parents. He lived with his grandparents.  They were no longer able to afford to take care of him.  They dropped him off and he was nervous.  He joined my group that day and he never left my side after that.  Every time I walked in, he got a really big smile and ran to hold my hand.

24)  You taught Diwan English.  In India, the children must know a certain amount of English to get into school.  For many children in the orphanage, this is a huge task, as most of them come in from the streets not knowing even basic Hindi, much less any English.  When I first met Diwan, he could say his ABC’s…because of the song.  When it came to writing them and actually being able to use the letters in any word, he knew nothing.  When I left, he could write the letters of the alphabets, as well as spell out the number to 10 and count to 100 (writing them out)  …he was closer to getting into school!!

23.)  You taught English to a class in Africa

Kayla Thomas’s team, while in Malawi taught English to a level 6 class.  Her team partnered with Great is God International Ministries in Malawi.
