Yes, you heard me right: This northern girl is leaving behind her beloved cold and snow and will moving down to Gainesville, Georgia in less than a month!

On January 2nd I will be driving down to Georgia to begin working for Adventures in Missions (AIM), the missions organization that I went on the World Race with. I am joining an incredible department called “Kingdom Dreams” that began this past February at AIM. While its services are open to anyone, it is presently focused on helping alumni racers take the dreams God has placed in their hearts and make them realities. During racers 11 months on the mission field, many have their eyes opened to the human rights atrocities occurring around the world and the reality that the desperate situations they find people in are not hopeless, but that there is actually much that can be done. Many  find themselves personally called to do something about these global injustices, from starting organizations that fight human trafficking, to building orphanages, to opening safe houses, to bringing clean water to villages who do not have access to it. Oftentimes, though, racers don’t know where to begin once they return home. We at Kingdom Dreams help dreamers clarify their dreams and take the next steps toward realizing those dreams. We provide the necessary networking, encouragement, and coaching to equip these world changers to transform their Kingdom dreams into Kingdom realities.

And that is my dream right now- to support other racers in turning the dreams
Godhas placed on their hearts into realities and to serve this new and growing
ministry. I am committed to serving Kingdom Dreams for five months and will then be co-leading a group of 10-20 college-aged students on a two month mission trip abroad during the months of June and July. I am incredibly excited to get to pour into these young people some of what was poured into me on the World Race. They have heard the whisper of something more and I am humbled and honored to walk this journey with them as their eyes are opened to God’s love for His people throughout the nations.

My position with Kingdom Dreams is 100% support raised, meaning my paycheck will come strictly from donations that are sent to Adventures in Missions on my behalf. I need to raise $1500 of support each month for the next seven months. After taxes, this will provide me with approximately $1200 to cover all of my living expenses (housing, insurance, gas, food, phone, etc.). I would be honored if you would come alongside me in this ministry through prayer, financial support, and encouragement over these next seven months of ministry.

Specifically, I am looking for 30 people to partner with me over the next 7 months as monthly donors. My monthly goal of $1500 can be reached with the following monthly, tax-deductible donations:

            1 donor at $200/month

            2 donors at $100/month

                          4 donors at $75/month

                          10 donors at $50/month

            12 donors at $25/month

One time donations are always appreciated and this is also a great organization to give a year-end, tax-deductible gift to. To donate, click on the “Support Me!” link on the left side of this page or email me at [email protected] if you would like to send in your donation through the mail.

I am eager to see what this next season holds and to witness the ways God is going to move through this ministry.  If you would like to hear more AIM or Kingdom Dreams, the role I will be playing in Gainesville, or my experiences on the World Race, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. If you are interested in receiving my monthly newsletter, please let me know by commenting on this blog or by emailing me at [email protected]. Thank you!
