The struggle is real when I can’t seem to figure out what to blog about. Every day is packed with so much information I just don’t know how to tell you about it all in one blog… its a lot harder than I would have thought haha. We’ve done a couple of things up to date, such as: praying in Hindu Temples for salvation, trekking up a hill to build an alter for Kathmandu, going into the slums, going to a bar to talk to those in the trafficking business, and treasure hunting!! They have all touched me in some way but I want to tell you more about treasure hunting!

As a squad we split up in our teams of 7 and prayed together asking God of where in Nepal we had to go along with who we are suppose to encounter at the location God gave us. So we prayed… and I got a picture of a forest (or an area with lots of trees) and on the outside of the forest was a market. Our interpreter she got the same picture but she also got a Hindu Temple and she knew of this place! I also got the word “Crazy Hair”. I didn’t know if this was a male or female if the hair was going to be long or short. But my teammate Julie told me to ask God more about the person, so I did… I got a female and short hair! πŸ™‚ Funny how God works like that! So we went to this place that was an hour drive and 2 buses to get there. Once we arrived we noticed this was the same place that we went to last week when we went to pray over the Hindu Temple. We knew right then and there that this was going to be good as God was bringing us back to the same place. We walked around the temple for a while and Rachel said she found the red brick buildings she had a vision of as they were behind the temple being created. They were just outside the temple.

Just as we were about to leave I saw this lady come in, she was about 5ft with a flowered skirt and a blue sweater. She had short black crazy looking hair. She was asking people from my team for money, she was a beggar. I FOUND MY TREASURE!! She came to me and started laughing… I wasn’t sure whether to take that to offense or not haha. But then she started talking to me in Nepalese… she wasn’t asking me for money, she just wanted to talk to me! I couldn’t understand her as she was speaking Nepalese. So I told her I spoke only English she laughed. She started talking to me as if I was going to understand her… I talked to her and responded to her as she was talking to me. The interpreter said I understood what she was saying! I understood what she was telling me. Everything she was speaking I understood. God was the interpreter in this situation! Super cool by the way. πŸ™‚ So we started communicating back and forth. She told me about where she bought her skirt and her sweater. She showed me her nail polish and her bracelets. She even told me a story of how she fell and hurt the palm of her hand. She pushed the palm of her hand in front of me so I put my hand on hers and started to pray over her. She didn’t move, she never tried to pull away she simply sat there quietly. I prayed over her and she continued talking to me. Asking people for money as they walked by but not once did she ask me.

God was with me today (He is with me everyday but today I just really could fell Him move in and through me). He gave me a vision of where our team had to go and the person I was going to encounter. I got to show her the love of Christ even if there was a language barrier and best of all I got to pray over her! God is so awesome and I love seeing Him work through me like that! When I left she waved bye to me and that just touched my heart more then ever. God made each and every person and loves him or her all so dearly He loves you so dearly. He may even put someone in your life to show His love for you! I mean He just used me today! Allow Him to use you to be a blessing to others you wont regret it I promise. It’s not just beneficial to that person but also to you. πŸ™‚

Pray about who God wants you to encounter today and who you are suppose to bless today. Even though I am half way around the world doesn’t mean He is going to use me more then anyone else. He will use you back home as well all you have to do is ask Him and be willing to follow what He asks of you. Go start your treasure hunt today!

Ready… Set… Go!! Good Luck!!

Blessings,

Heidi πŸ™‚
