This is my last week in Tirana, Albania! It is so bittersweet because I have loved my time here, will miss the people I have developed a relationship with, and at the same time I am excited to see what God has in store for debrief in Serbia and our next month in Romania.  Honestly, I thought it would be harder to leave and I’m sure some places will be harder.  I did make connections here but I want to be more intentional about developing relationships next month with locals.  I did meet one local who we have had the opportunity to share the gospel with on a couple of occasions. (Stay tuned for updates on his story)   But I want to be better about that in the coming months.

This week we have gotten the opportunity to do VBS at our church.  Ya’ll this is what I was made for!! My heart is overwhelmed with joy this week singing, dancing, and sharing Jesus with these precious little hearts. I have loved it! They remind me to embrace child-like faith! Jesus commanded us to be this way.

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

                          -Matthew 18:3

I love singing, dancing, and just letting loose like a child.  It’s so beautiful to see and they have taught me as much this week or even more than I have taught them.  That’s usually the way it works isn’t it? Take a glimpse of what I have experienced this week with this video I created.  Don’t forget to become like a child sometimes! It’s good for us all! Signing off from Albania! See ya in Romania!

If you have been reading my previous blogs you know our main ministry here has been painting and preparing a Kindergarten for their opening in September.  I attached some finished pictures of our murals.  These paintings were created by “artists” from all over the world… our team, a team from Holland, and another American missionary on a short term trip here. Teamwork makes the dream work! Enjoy our “Gallery of Love”.
