This week has been INCREDIBLE!! The Lord has been blessing me beyond what I could have imagined or asked of him. He has provided over $2000 for my trip THIS WEEK! You are the best donors in the world by the way!!! I am so thankful for the way God is moving hearts and providing for this trip! So, you are probably reading this blog and wondering if I attached it to the wrong title. Well as you may have found out in your own spiritual walk, where God is doing amazing things in your life, the devil is not far away. I should have known and been more prepared. He sees the good things happening in your life and he rears his ugly head and comes in and tries to steal, kill, and destroy your joy. It always happens!! This week I have also been told on multiple occasions by different people that not to get my hopes up because not a lot of people finish this race and they go into this long drawn out story about their so and so had this happen and they either couldn’t launch or couldn’t finish the 11 months. Now God has a plan for everyone and he knew all those people’s stories before they did. He has orchestrated it out and for whatever reason not finishing was the best for them and that is fine. AND please if you are one of these people PLEASE don’t get offended or feel like you have done something wrong by telling me these things. I am fully confident everyone of you had good intentions and just want to warn me and give me advise so I can make the wisest choice for my life. I get it and I am thankful for people who are real with me and share these things. This is not your fault. I allowed Satan to take these words and my insecurities and have a hay day in my heart! I was the one who was not as prayerful and watchful as I should have been. So please don’t think I am blaming you! But sorry Satan you lost this one!!! I am on to your deceitful lies. You WILL not devour me! I believe in a God that when he calls, he provides and equips! So, take your lies somewhere else!!! Yes, there are things I’m unsure about the race, I’d be lying if I said their wasn’t. But I also have this overwhelming peace and assurance that this is what God has called me to do. The devil WILL NOT GET THIS GIRL’S JOY!!! I choose to focus on the amazing things God is doing in my life and in those around me and NOT how Satan is distorting the truth!
I challenge you to also take a hard look at your life. Are you allowing the devil to distort your thoughts and feelings about anything? Are you allowing him to take advice from others and turn them into worry and doubt? This can happen in good and bad circumstances…he’s sneaky like that!!! He comes to steal, kill, and destroy our joy and our lives if we allow him! Don’t do it! Be watchful and mindful and don’t give him an inch because he will take a mile! Choose JOY my friends and focus on how AWESOME the God is that we serve and call our Father!
