“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every tribe, nation, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.  They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”

Revelation 7:9

Today I was a little disappointed the worship music was not in English at all.  I don’t know why I expected it to be but there a is a group here from Holland and I was hoping for a few songs in English.  It was hard for me to connect.  There I was not feeling well from a cold and drowning in my own selfish desires.  Then God nudged me with His still small voice, Heather stop complaining and take in this moment.  At one point we were singing in three different languages, Albanian, Dutch and English.  What a privilege I am having right now? Today was a beautiful picture of what heaven will be like someday when all tongues, tribes and nations will be worshiping the one true God all together.  What a day that will be and today I had a small glimpse of that! I am so thankful for the Spirit’s redirection today and not missing that beautiful opportunity to experience worship that way. It was breath taking! I was also reminded Worship is not about me and whether I feel connected.  It’s about the one you are worshipping and God was pleased with the Worship that was taking place today.  He loves to hear his children sing in whatever language.  He looks at the heart and today He had to change mine and I am so glad He did.  He chose to bring me back to the perspective I needed and see the beauty that was taking place all around me. I took a few small video clips that I would like to share with you. Enjoy the clips and my little glimpse of what I see Heaven like some sweet sweet day!
