One of our ministries this month is helping to build this house that you see behind us. We are learning a lot about building concrete walls and getting to love on a local family.
This is the Matthew 25 House. This ministry houses and provides around the clock care for elderly men and women. We go there twice a week to sing songs, tell them bible stories, do crafts, and love on these precious souls. This is where I met D from one of my former blogs. I am continuing to pray and believe that God will heal her blindness.
This is our JAM Club. We got to a neighboring town and do a kids bible club twice a week. This is one of my favorite times of the week! I mean look at this little guy!! Who wouldn’t love this???
We also take a few days a week to go into the community and do street evangelism. It’s amazing what the Lord will do with obedient hearts. He is moving in Haiti. All 8 of these guys accepted the Lord. We also met the family pictured below. They are believers and showed us so much hospitality. They brought into their home showed us around and gave us mangoes. We go to pray for them and I was very encouraged by their hearts and love for Jesus.
Haiti is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and it’s also probably the most broken place I have ever been. People are desperate and are in need of Jesus. Please pray for the people of this gorgeous country that they would realize they need Jesus more than anything else.
