And Trouble always follows

Failed attempts to get out…
Nowhere to go, and knowing too much
A Man mocks and threatens his family
Aggression builds

Confession slipped his lips
Locked up.
Detention Center Bible study led to a man named Pat.
Introduced to Jesus.

On probation
Accepted onto Pats farm for reform
Confused
Feeling Unworthy, Unlovable and Unforgivable
He runs away
Scared.
Returned to selling drugs
Used
Sold as collateral for drugs by his very own uncle
Alone
Abandoned.
Just a boy…
Escaped on his own.
Running for his life
Hiding
Starving
Calls Pat.

Given a Second chance
Provided work and
Stability
Jesus.
Help.

But this time was different
Helped out at a Church
Wants to change
Hope.

With the Same friends,
Same expectations
Who Won’t take no as an answer.
Family was Threatened
Aggression builds
Knife in sight
He bursts
Murderer.
Runs into Hiding
Calls Pat.
Just a boy…
Who stays one night on the farm
He runs away
Goes Home to Myanmar
Moved to China, became drug dealer
Stole a bike
Arrested.
Just a boy…
Deported Back to Thailand
No warrant or record
Miracle!
Has No one to call

A boy who was lost.. mistreated as a child and led down a path of destruction.
A boy who has done incredibly terrifying, horrible and unthinkable acts has been given a second, third, and fourth chance.
A boy who felt as though he was never good enough, would never be loved or forgiven, has been welcomed into a mans home and family over and over again. Shown acceptance, hope And Jesus’ unfailing, unconditional love!!
A boy who went from selling children for their organs, killing men who threatened his family and selling drugs to make a living, is now living on a farm, learning new life skills, building a relationship with the Lord and showing his love for children and people around him through the family that has so gracefully obeyed God’s Requests to take him in numerous times When we had no one of positive influence
This boy is now 22 years old. He has seen and done more than anyone should ever experience, especially at his age. He has lost everything, but gained so much.
A boy who has taken so many lives with his own hands, is now in a hospital taking care of a brother in Christ who has liver cancer. This boy went from taking lives with his own hands, to now helping them LIVE!!
Pat has taught us all how to die to ourselves and see others as Jesus. He has taught us to love those that are hard to love because that is our duty, that is why we are here and that is how we should all live each and every day. It won’t be easy, it won’t be safe, it won’t always be what you want… but it will be worth it. Fight for those who are hard to love, fight for those who are desperately searching for new direction and in need of Jesus. Everyone needs Jesus, no matter their history..
John 13:34-35
