Hey everyone!!! So a couple of weekends ago me, my mom and dad took our first official trip to get my pack and other necessary things for the World Race! Let me just say this trip was already planned to be the best day ever and WHOA was it seriously so much freaking fun!! We woke up super early and headed out, I obviously was the most excited in the car and could not wait to go shopping (I don’t know if this is because I’m addicted to shopping or what but thats not the point)! I really think that was mainly because my dad was paying for this REI trip, and my mom was just a little sad because this is one more step closer to me leaving her for 11 months. This trip so much fun and I got to learn a ton of new stuff from the guy at the store and I left there with my big pack, day pack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and a bunch of other cool stuff! Im beyond super excited for all these next steps leading up to training camp, which by the way is in less than 50 days away!!!!! (But who’s counting)
Also in other fantastic news I am oh so very close to meeting my personal goal of $10,000 by the summer!!!! I could not be more excited, thankful, and blessed by everyone who has and will donated and supported me on this next journey in my life! Y’all are seriously great!!
