Our last month in Ethiopia was amazing! We were split by our teams for room arrangements and we were the lucky team with an extra bed. A women who works for HopEthoipia asked if she could stay in our room. We believed she was just staying for a couple of days but then realized she was gonna live with us for the whole month. We took every opportunity to talk to her and love on her while we lived together.
Meet Worke

Y’all this women is incredible! She is such a women of prayer and radiates the Father’s love. She shared her testimony with the squad and explained that when she was 15 she was put in jail serval different times for believing in God. While in jail she had to sleep outside and was almost killed for not denying God. Her faith was, and still is, unshakable. God has brought her through so much.
Worke taught me a ton about God’s character and how powerful prayer is. Worke prayed for our room tirelessly. There were many times she would stay up late into the night to pray for us while we slept. I was so blessed by listening to Worke pray. She prayed with such confidence and authority. Worke showed me what sacrificial love looked like by pouring herself out for the squad all day. Worke was such a sweet blessing and surprise last month. I am forever grateful for who she is and what she taught me. PEACE
XOXO
