Last month, my team got to work with a pretty unique ministry. We had the opportunity to minister to a small village that was located across the street from a garbage dump. Monday to Wednesday we traveled to this village to spend time with the children who lived there and feed them dinner. Each night we did a Bible lesson, danced, played games and colored with the kids. This ministry was such a sweet surprise! When I first read that we were doing garbage dump ministry I didn’t think it would entail falling in love with a sweet little smelly village across the way from the dump.
