Sorry for my absence from the blog! internet and electricity in gemeral have been quite interesting… Often non existent when I need it. Here a really quick bullet point list of what’s been happening so far:
– arrived at Imphal airport 1/12
– bus ride through villages made me tear up because I’m finally living out my dream!
– arrived to curry the first night… Glorious.
– woke up to chai the first morning!!! Better than I had remembered.
– colder than we expected. Morning and night cold. 4 hrs of hot in middle of day.
– staying in the seminary class rooms. Pretty comfortable… Almost too Comfortable for the race!
– rotating the class rooms and huts and excited for the challenge of roughing it.
– ministry is different Every day. Vbs. painting school class rooms. Building walls around seminary dorms. Women’s retreat ministries. Kitchen duty (one of my fave!)
– my team has the BEST liaison: Huolhim. Hilarious. Wise. Him and his wife are the sweetest. We’ll miss him greatly when we leave! My team is thinking about getting shirts made with his face on them… Haha! Huolhim has been such a joy to have with team BOLD.
– my team has been going through testimonies. We just finished last night with Sabrina’s. We are enjoying getting to know everyone better and growing closer as a team.
– oh! Btw. Q Squad is all together here in Manipur. We have had the best time being all in one place as a unit and learning so much from one another. It’s been incredible to see a glimpse of the body of Christ and how it functions as a whole in this beautiful little said we have. I am so grateful for the whole squad being together this first month.
– the kitchen staff has been super kind and thoughtful and they make me gluten free things and set them aside. They are so fun and generous with their time. They literally are in the kitchen ALL DAY. They never leave. I’m humbled every day by they’re service to us.
– the lord had been doing some big things within our hearts already. Holy Spirit is seriously moving and gripping our hearts like we’ve never experienced. We’ve had a lot of spiritual warfare to battle already as a result. I think the Enemy is getting scared and intimidated of us…. I’ll be honest, I’m not shocked. We’re a solid group of Holy Spirit soaked Jesus lovers. We’ve got a lot of power in this squad.
– I’m loving INDIA. It’s different than Kerala (south India.). Everyone looks more Nepalese or even Chinese – not INDIAn. The beauty in this Hmar people group is awe inducing. I love just looking at them. Striking features with eyes that pierce and cheek bones that could slice granite. For real. I wish I could post pictures!! They will come with better wifi, I promise! We’ve been asked not to post pictures because it eats up the broadband.
– I miss RVA. I miss my family time. I miss my friend time. I miss my neighbor time around the fire pit – Lexi and Emma, I miss hearing you guys play outside! I miss worshiping with my team on Sunday’s. I’ve found a great little groove with some guitar players on my squad though, so I’ve been singing and helping lead some worship!
– love you all and can’t wait to share more. I hope that I will have better connection in the weeks to come so I can update more often!

we just found out that our next ministry is in Kathmandu, Nepal! There wi be some possible ministry with trafficking victims! My heart is so excited and ready for that. It will be another all squad month! Woop woop! I’m hoping pictures can be posted from Kathmandu. I have high hopes!

There’s so much I want to share, but for now that’s all I have time for. Jesus is moving. Holy Spirit is speaking SO much to me. It’s just a really sweet time on the other side of the world!
