Still to raise: $10,457
By Monday, December 14th (which is just a couple days away), the goal is to have $10,500 in my trip account.
I am $3,395 away from that goal.
I was asking God if I should share this money update. I have no desire to be boring or repetitive or to simply be “squeezing” people for money. I believe that God is doing something wonderful in my life, and the one thing He keeps encouraging me to do is to invite people into the process. He says people are interested in seeing what is happening and that includes finances.
The reward of this journey is so much greater than reaching a fundraising goal or seeing 11 countries. Every day is a treasure hunt. God is “hiding” gifts and surprises for each of us that we’ll practically trip over because of His abundantly rich love for us. ANYTHING we invest, surrender, or give to follow His leading will always return with increase.
The gains always out-weigh the loses in following the Almighty Father.
