I have a couple challenges for you on Tuesday, November 11…World Race Day. I know the news or radio might not remind you it’s World Race Day, but your phone can if you tell it to. Why is November 11 World Race Day? I’m glad you asked. It is World Race Day because it is 11/11 and we travel to 11 countries in 11 months during the World Race.
Challenge 1: Share! Take time to share my blog with somebody (or 11 people if you are ambitious). Many of you have told me or commented how a particular blog has touched you or encouraged you. I want you to pass that along to your friends, family, coworkers, and church or even complete strangers. I want to encourage as many people as I can throughout my journey and you can help me do this by sharing what I am doing!
Challenge 2: Pray! I know most of you are already praying for me on a regular basis and I appreciate all the prayers and have felt them each day. But on November 11 I want you to pray that God will give me 11 things to blog about. I want God to show up in unexpected ways!
Challenge 3: Give! I don’t blog much about money on purpose. I know God will provide the finances and He already has provided for the first 2 deadlines so I know He will provide for the next 2 as well. So here’s where I’m currently at: I’m $13 away from my December 1 deadline 🙂 After monthly pledges are deposited into my World Race account I need about $3,500 to meet the final deadline on March 1. Thank you to all those who have already given! I challenge you to give on World Race Day or ask others to give. Ask 11 people to give $11. Maybe God is impressing on you to do more…do it! Ask 11 people to give $111. Remember you can give on the left hand side of the blog.
