I’m currently in my 8th year of teaching but God has called me to go! I went on my first mission trip to Bolivia when I was 14 years old. At that time I fell in love with the Hispanic culture and a passion for missions began. How could I not develop a passion when our group witnessed 4,407 salvations along with many miracles? I went to Ecuador the following year. After the two trips I was motivated to learn Spanish. So during college I took as many classes in Spanish as I could while majoring in English Education. During college I went to Chile to help build a school in the middle of the slums. It was eyeopening to see the poverty and all I wanted to do was help. After beginning my career in Ohio, I had the pleasure of helping a Hispanic church and once again I knew God had called me. I had the pleasure of going to Puerto Rico to help a church and do door to door ministry as well as preach and translate. I’ve traveled to many other countries, but the best trips have been when I’m doing God’s work. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do during the World Race!
