We got to Dublin, Ireland at around 5 am on the 12th of August. The journey begins…
We arrived at a campground and met our leaders who had come out a few days beforehand to prepare for us. We set up camp and the amazingness of launch camp began. 80+ people set up camp on what was smaller than a football field. Then we headed into Dublin to see some sites. We got to see Dublin Castle, the oldest church in Ireland, Four Courts, the river, the gardens, probably our biggest challenge of the day was to find Irish stew and staying awake. We did stay awake all day though and crashed about 9 and were ready to go come Thursday morning. Good idea WR staff people who know a lot about jet lag.

Then with much anticipation and excitement our team left for our ministry on Saturday morning. We had to leave a bit earlier than the other teams because we had to get up to the camp by that evening. It was really cool to be the first team out and on ministry assignment.
