Wow! We are in our final month of this crazy race. I can hardly believe that it is coming to an end, that in just a few weeks I will be back in Texas seeing family, eating good bbq and chips and salsa. That in just a few weeks I will no longer be in this community that I have grown to love. We have grown together, we have experienced life together, we have learned together, we have loved together. I do not know what it will look like for me to do life without this community. I do know that it is coming and am a bit overwhelmed by that.
All of that insanity aside, we are now in Cambodia. A land wrecked by genocide and civil war. We are working with a church called New Life Fellowship. They work in so many different areas here in Phnom Penh and all over Cambodia. They do an especially good job of raising up Khmer (Cambodian) people who will eventually lead this church. We are helping them to revamp their website and creating other outlets of information for their different ministries. This is a really cool opportunity to get to be a part of many of their ministries and also get to see their ministries furthered because of a more well supported website.
We are very excited to be here and see what God has to do in this the final month of this race. God has been so good in revealing himself as powerful, loving and providing throughout this race and we are standing in expectancy to see that in even bigger ways this month (and beyond).
