Well if you are reading this there is a possible chance you just had to pick yourself up off the floor since you have not seen a post from me in a long, long time. I would like to apologize for not writing more often. I could make a lot of excuses like my computer deleted my blogs (which it did), or the internet is not strong enough or does not exist in the village where I am living, or I cannot get the website to upload my blog, and on, and on. However, I am not here to make excuses for you but to apologize for my lack of communication.

The truth is I have been loving and living every moment that I can while on this amazing journey. I have learned a lot about myself, my relationship with God, and God Himself. I have been in the midst of 10 different cultures, languages, food, and beliefs. I have made everlasting friendships and created a new family that I will always cherish. This year has come with its own struggles but at the end of 9 months I can say it has all been worth it.

I wanted to give you a little recap of everything that has happened since my last blog about Nepal.

Thailand: I lived in Chang Mai and worked with Lighthouse In Action. I would spend my afternoons praying then my evenings either praying for 3 hours for the girls in the bars or going to the bars myself. I absolutely loved my ministry in Thailand. Human Trafficking has a special place in my heart now.

Cambodia: I lived in a small village that even the locals could not tell me the name working with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I taught English twice a day using anything from pop songs to movies to things we saw in nature. I had the conversational classes with the older students. I always had fun with my classes. I really enjoyed this month. I was on a team I loved and being in the middle of no where was exceptionally wonderful.

Vietnam: I lived in Nha Trang and mainly did beach ministry. I also worked in a orphanage and handed out food to the hungry through a restaurant called Lanterns. I absolutely loved this month! I think I enjoyed it so much because I finally got to work a little in a orphanage but also because there was a beach within walking distance from my house. As it turns out, I LOVE the beach!

Malaysia: I lived in Kuala Lumpur and Penang Island. This month’s ministry looked very different than most months. My team was given Ask The Lord (ATL) and Unsung Heroes. This basically means that every morning we would wake up have a Bible study and ask the Lord where He wanted us to go or what He wanted us to do that day. Our team quickly came to the conclusion that our month was to mainly focus on building up everyone else that are travelling with us. We began a daily prayer list for our squad mates and created videos for them. This was a great month for me because it also gave me the opportunity to live as if I were back in the States but with my eyes open to the many different opportunities to serve God around me. This month I also hit a high note in my relationship with God. Despite the grief that I was going through with circumstances around me, this was an amazing month.

Moldova: This month I am living in Chisinau and working with Campus Crusade for Christ. It is a lot more structured than last month! I am teaching English to high school and university students. I have not actually started my ministry yet but I am loving my time in Moldova. After 9 months of endless summer, I am finally cold! It is amazing as long as I don’t freeze to death!

The main thing I want you to know is that I am exceptionally HAPPY and OVERJOYED to be SERVING God in so many different countries.
