Hello! Welcome to my website  =)  Much more will be added over the next few weeks and especially over the next year!  However, in the meantime you can find some information on the side bar with my current blogs, pictures, and information on how you can support me on this journey!

I will be leaving mid-June as part of the June 2010 World Race Squad.  Over the next 11 months I will be traveling Europe, Africa, and Asia to spread the word and the love of God.  I will be placed on a team of 5-7 people and well, they’ll be my family!  I can’t wait to meet everyone on my squad (and my team) and see what God has in store! We will be traveling to Ireland, Ukraine, Romania, Israel, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda (!), Thailand, and Cambodia…then twice on the race we will ask the Lord to send us where He wants us to minister to and that’s where our team will go (we will do this to determine one month in Africa and one month in Asia).

A couple of weeks ago, I handed my post grad school plans over…I stopped looking at apartments, I stopped looking into ministry opportunities in Uganda (even though I am beyond thrilled to get to go back while on the race!), and I asked God where He wanted me to go.  We had some fun conversations because for those of you that I don’t know yet…well, I can be really stubborn!  So finally, I told God that if He really wanted me to leave and go on the world race to give me a definite answer as to which one I was going on and to open the doors for it happen.  I soon found myself looking at the June race (which I wasn’t even considering before, because it’s so soon and I don’t even graduate until the middle of May!)  It’s hard to put into words the peace that God gave me when I first opened up the race route information and as I looked over the countries I saw that Uganda fell on December and God reminded me how much He loves me.  He’ll take me home to Uganda…in His timing.  Not long after I filled out my application, contacted my references, told my parents that I was applying, and submitted my information.  A week later I had my interview, and less than 24 hours later I got a phone call saying that I was accepted.  So, here I am less than 2 weeks later trusting that God is going to provide all that I need…  Join me on this journey, your prayers mean everything to me!  And if you’re interested in supporting me financially that information can also be found under the support me tab on the left!
