I got to training camp Saturday night and I’m pretty sure I entered into a time warp soon thereafter. Each day feels like a few days wrapped into one with all that we have going on. Between getting up around 6:30 every morning (yea, that’s 5:30 central time) and being outside and busy most of the day I’m pretty tired come bedtime. It’s been such an awesome experience though and I know that this is only the beginning! So far we’ve been working as a squad and getting to know everyone. It’s been great the past few days because we’ve had more one on one time with each other and really had a chance to get to know one another and work as a squad. Sometime in the next 24 hours we should find out who our teams are going to be!! It’s crazy to try and fit everything I’ve been learning and experiencing down to one post so I’m sure there will be more soon. God has reminded me of so much and has my mind working overtime here. It’s been crazy to look back over all that God has brought me through. It still hits me every now and then that He has really called me to this and well, it’s real!! And really, it’s not so bad living out of a backpack and tent =D or I guess I should say it’s bad doing so for a week…we’ll see where I stand after a year of it! I’ll update more once I have a little bit more time!
