So, I’m back in the states…surprise!! I’ve sat down a few times to try and write some sort of wrap up/ here’s what’s next blog, but you see how that’s turned out. Soo here’s another try…
We finished off the race with our final debrief in Antigua, Guatemala. It was a great few days of beginning to debrief and just enjoying hanging out with the squad.

May 12th we flew in to Dallas and I stayed there for a couple of days with some friends. It was a great transition to being back in the states. I think it finally really hit me that I was home when I walked through the doors and was able to introduce my friends from the race to my friends back in the states…and so my worlds began to collide…

I stayed in Nashville for a little under a week and now I’m in Copperhill, TN serving at another world race training camp. It’s been such a blessing to be here and has actually helped me in my own process of well, processing!

So the big question of what’s next….glad you asked! Long term, I’m not positive what I’m doing. My next step is moving in with a friend and 2 or 3 others in Nashville. I feel like the next thing for me to do is to take this life that I’ve lived for the past year and figure out what it means to live it in Nashville…to truly love others the way that God has called me (really all of us) to. So, that’s my plan!

This past year has been a crazy, amazing, challenging, joyful, hard, exciting, wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone that has supported me, financially and prayerfully…no blog could ever explain how much I appreciate it!

I would love to get together one on one and talk more about this past year (and finally be able to share about my time in Laos!) so feel free to e-mail me or call!
