- I added some initials after my name- Heather Horton, LMSW
- I’m officially licensed as a master’s level social worker in the state of Tennessee, woohoo! (now let’s see if I ever use it!)
- I’ve learned to sing Joy to the World and We Wish You a Merry Christmas in Thai
- I’ve gone to about 10 Christmas parties where we sang in Thai, did some skits, shared some testimonies.
- Visited a few orphanages
- Played with the kids in a few different slum villages
- Went caroling in the slums
- Spent time at the prayer house
- Met some amazing people
- Got to know God on a more intimate level
- Had a lot of fun with my team and the people we met
- Rode a song-taw (pick-up truck with benches in the back) with a lemur
- Learned how to get a guy to stop hitting on me in Starbucks- tell him you’re on a mission trip…he will then quickly and very awkwardly exit the conversation on his own. =)
- Got a new tattoo
- Learned from God where my team will be going for our ATL Asia month next month! (more info will come later…)
- Saw Tron in IMAX, good movie!
- Spent a day in Bangkok with the squad
- … and now on to Cambodia!
