Soooo KENYA! Yea, I’m at a loss as to what exactly to blog about…there’s far too much flowing through my mind so I’m just gonna go ahead and apologize if this doesn’t make sense…
I feel like I’m home, but at the same time things are much different than my last trip to Africa…primarily, I’m with a group this time. I have rules I have to follow and my family here that I’m “doing life with”. It’s an adjustment to not be “allowed” to do what I want when I want. It’s strange that I can’t go to the store by myself… Anyhoo, aside from that the ministry here is also new and I love it!

So far we have also:
- Been to a Christian Fellowship meeting at Nairobi College (I have a fun story on this for another time…)
- Gone to a few prayer meetings
- Talked with people on the street, and prayed for many of them
- Gone on a prayer walk around town
- Taught at one of the primary schools (short 30 minute lesson)
- Spent time with some of the church members
- Visited one of the nearby slums
- Loved on a million little children
- Felt complete joy when loving on these children
- Played in the courtyard of a school in the slums
- Met a woman and daughter that lost their house in a fire in the slums yesterday
- Found an awesome coffee shop that makes me feel like I’m in the states
- Been called Mzungu upteen times (it means “white man” and is generally used in “Mzungu! How are you?!)
- Been cold more that I thought possible in Africa
