I’m currently in a village about 25 minutes outside of Siem Reap. It’s gorgeous! I haven’t even gotten out to see much of the village yet, but I’m willing to go ahead and say that it is amazing. I can see the night sky in all of it’s beauty…I’m happy. =) We’re partnering with YWAM this month and are living/ ministering with one of their teaching centers in the village…I’m told we live in Pouk Village…good luck finding it on a map.
Here’s what this month will look like:
~ Teaching English twice a day, 5 days a week
~ Teaching/playing with kids in the village 2 days a week
~ Teaching Sunday School
~ Teaching “specialty” classes
~ Getting to know the four women on staff here and doing devotionals with them
~ Doing chores around the property
~ And riding our bikes around because we’ve rented bikes for the month!
We are so blessed with where we’re at this month. We pretty much have the best of both worlds because we can get into the city easily if we need to (because we most definitely need to get to the grocery store that has American products!) and yet we get to live in the village where it’s peaceful and beautiful!
