I’m in the Ukraine!!!
I left Nashville early Wednesday morning and headed to New York (met up
with my squad there) then on to Paris and finally Kiev.  Soo total trip…left Nashville around 7 a.m.
Wed. and then got to our contact’s place around 7 p.m. Thursday, which is where
we’re currently hanging out! It’s kind of weird though because the sun doesn’t
go down until around 10 p.m. so despite the extreme lack of sleep we’re all
still awake!

The in between is that we actually met up with our leaders
at the Kiev airport and then all of the teams split for either the hostel, the
train station, or my team which is lucky enough to be at our contact’s
apartment =D  We had a fun trek from the
hostel to get here and I’m rethinking how good of an idea it was to bring my
own little library =  needless to say,
my pack will be getting lighter in the next few weeks, one way or another!

Tomorrow afternoon my team will be boarding a train for an oh
so lovely 19 hour train ride! We’re heading down to Simferopol, Ukraine for the
month and will be working with an evangelical church there.  While there we’ll be camping out and ministering
to children in camps through sports and medical help, door to door evangelism,
and construction! Not sure exactly what this will look like, but I’m excited!
