Sometimes, my heart is so filled with joy that I don’t know what else to do than read God’s word and sit in His presence. Sometimes I catch myself smiling just thinking about how wonderful He is…how faithful He is, and I find myself speechless to think that He loves me enough to pursue me

I don’t claim to have it all figured out and my struggles in life and with God are real and ever changing, but right now I’m just filled with joy in God.

I’m currently in Greystones, Ireland and loving my time here. This month my team is working with team Jubilee, they’re pretty much amazing! We’ve been staying with a couple and their 3 foster children. We are beyond blessed by this family! They have opened up their home and their lives for us and we’ve been able to jump right in. We’ve been doing a lot of work around their home and getting things cleaned up and organized. They do a lot of work with the travelers (what they call the gypsies here) and also with street evangelism. Most days we’ve worked around the house during the day and then head out at night for outreach. This has involved going to downtown Dublin and Bray (a neighboring town) to do street evangelism, handing out tracts and talking with people. This is definitely something new for me, but I’m enjoying being challenged. We also went to church with them on Sunday morning and then lead their time together Sunday night and Tuesday night at church. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to help lead worship and I was also able to share my testimony one night. This month is holding all sorts of new experiences and I love it! Our contacts were also gracious enough to let us stay in their home for the month even though they left this morning for a conference in France =) It’s amazing to see God provide!

Lately, God has been laying new things on my heart and challenging me in new ways. He’s told me things that I didn’t really want to hear, and He’s continued to pursue me even when I didn’t want to obey. He’s filled me with joy in reading His word and confirmed things when I’ve been skeptical. How amazing it is that we get to serve a God that loves us enough to do all of these things!
