The raffle went great and we raised a total of $1,478!!!
So~ Sarah’s Dad , Alex’s Dad (more likely Alex’s Mom will like this) and Anna!!! Congratulations and thank you so much for supporting me! Can you all guess which you won?? =D My plan is to head to a post office in the next few days and have these on their way to you!!!
As an added bonus there ended up being a special 4th item that was hand made by one of the women I met here sooo….Aunt Linda~ it’s your lucky day! (as long as it can fit in the box, that is!) Sadly, this beautiful hat won’t make it back in one piece if I try to take it around the rest of the world with me =)
I ended up being just $400 short of my goal, but thanks to some of my amazing supportors I’ve recieved word that the additional funds are headed to my support account! So on to Tanzania!!! From here, I have $3,300 left to raise until I an FULLY FUNDED!!! So help me keep getting the word out there about and before long I can be fully funded and stop bugging you with silly updates about finances =) There aren’t enough words to thank everyone that has partnered with me on this journey, and the real fun is just beginning!
I will be heading to Kampala on Saturday to meet up with the rest of the squad and then we’ll be on our way to Tanzania! Lots has been going on here in the past few weeks…as soon as I can collect my thoughts and write them down there are some real posts coming!!! (and some pretty funny ones too!)
