Here's the biggest lesson the LORD is teaching me this month:
Joy is a choice. I have to choose it.
It would be really easy to go down the list of everything that's been really hard. Instead, I want to show you somethings that bring or have brought so much joy.
This is Choudra. She's my favorite little girl at Spein Neak, the school where Nikki and I teach English. She always wears red and carries a Mickey Mouse purse and corrects my Khmer.
I get to ride a bike to and from ministry, and whenever I hang out with my Wellspring girls.
I left my bike in Fort Collins, so it's been a blast being back on one!
I keep finding random art all over this city. This is a mural Melssa did at the Spein Neak school.
There's a also a great, quirky hotel on the ride home that I've stopped at. They have lots of modern art.
Oh this girl. She captured my heart at the Bakong village.
She's considered a "child-at risk" but is so full of smiles and joy.
I couldn't help but LOVE her instantly.
