It's 11:50 pm on Thursday night and I'm staring down the finish line of my first round of monthly newsletters.  Let's just say up front how absolutely GOOD the LORD has been to me throughout this entire support-raising process.  From all records, I am right at halfway fundraised.  That blows my mind a little bit.  My support team is unbelievable!  They've blessed me SO much, both financially and emotionally.  Not a day goes by where I am don't receive an email or letter or phone call asking about the World Race and how someone can get involved.  Praise the LORD!

It's funny how the biggest blessings don't come from the checkbook.  This week alone I've had two people offer their talents to me in such generous ways.  My roommate took some pictures for promotional WR stuff (be checking your mail in the next month for REALLY fun things!).  I think they turned out surprisingly well!  Today, a friend offered me his computer knowledge, helping me to clean up the netbook I just bought so that it will run well during the year.

All this to say that the conclusion I'm coming to is that even though I'm the one packing my life into a backpack, getting on a plane and leaving for a year, it would be impossible to do it without the support I have in the U.S.  The generosity and support of the people around me (probably even of YOU since YOU'RE reading this little blog!) makes what I'm going to do possible.  Without the generosity of the people who support me (again, YOU!), I would not be able to complete the task that the LORD has set before me.

Where He goes, I go.  Thank you for making that possible.  Thank you for choosing to partner with the LORD and helping me to serve alongside Him in the field.    You are advancing the Kingdom!  Praise the LORD!
