Once again the road that we planned to take was under construction and God took us on a littl
e detour to Antigua, Guatemala. By under construction I mean that are plans for traveling to Nicaragua we detoured due to some unsettledness in Honduras. Our Father has faithfully watched over us and detoured us to exactly where He wanted us. We have been able to follow the detour and enjoy the scenic route God took us on.
Here in Antigua we have been able to see Gods hand in many ways. He safely brought us to a place where we could unite with another squad and speak life into each other. We have been able to see God bring freedom into our liv
es and allow us to come together with 50 other races and worship Him as a whole group.
We were also blessed to be able to love on some of the most precious children. God provided the opportunity for us to work in a special needs hospital here in Antigua. The children mostly
suffered from cerebral palsy. My heart was absolutely touched by the joy of these children. We loved on them, sang over them, and helped feed them dinner. These children loved on us with their joy and laughter.
Today we were able to go on one of the single most breathtaking hikes of my life. We hiked to the top of an active volcano! After many cuts and bruises from lava rock we made it to the top. It was an incredible experience that I would repeat in a heartbeat. We roasted marshmallows and witnessed active flowing hot lava. Our God knows exactly how to romance us!
